3D printed city maps of Britain
3D Printed City Maps of Britain — 9×9cm Relief Plates at 1:11,000
Cityform is a Sheffield-based maker of 3D printed topographic relief plates of British cities. Each plate covers exactly 1 km² of a real UK location at 1:11,000 scale, printed in white PLA on a black ribbed base with a laser-engraved stainless-steel label showing the city name, area, and coordinates. Building heights are derived from Environment Agency LIDAR data; building footprints and street layouts come from OpenStreetMap. The result is a physical model that shows real measured terrain: roads are engraved as grooves, water is cut hollow, and buildings stand at their actual relative heights. Pre-made plates of 15 UK cities — including Sheffield, York, Durham, and Whitby — are available at £45 each, and any 1 km² of Britain can be commissioned at the same price via the Make Yours picker on the site. All plates are made to order, dispatched in 2–3 working days via Royal Mail Tracked 48.

Made to mark a place
A city someone actually stood in
The kilometre of a first home, a wedding venue, a university, the street someone grew up on, or the city they moved away from — printed to order and engraved with its exact coordinates. A considered gift for the person who is hard to buy for: an architect, a geographer, or anyone who measures a place by having lived in it.
